Designed for children between the ages of 7 and 10, this 1-hour class will encourage students to explore and discover their minds, bodies, and breathing in a fun and energetic way. Kids’ yoga also encourages inner-strength, confidence and self-esteem; a feeling of well-being and respect for others; and, a love for one's self, inside and out.
Kids’ yoga can be quite beneficial to those whose bodies are still developing. In teaching students’ the poses and stretches, strength, flexibility, coordination, and positive body awareness are promoted. Breathing and visualization techniques help students focus, relax, and develop self-control.
Note:Students must be between the ages of 7-10 (beginning in 2nd grade). Students should come to class with their own yoga mats and water bottles. Comfortable, firm clothing that is easy to move in is recommended. Students will be asked to remove their shoes and socks. A light snack should be eaten before class, such as yogurt or a piece of fruit.

Carly Greenwood, R.N., L.M.T, is a professionally trained Massage Therapist who meets all state and local requirements. She provides many different types of therapeutic massage and will carefully customize the right massage treatment to best fit your needs. Great care and special attention are given to everyone, particularly those with injuries, ailments, the elderly and pregnant women, to see to it that they are comfortable and cared for properly and safely.
Massage Therapy sessions consists of consultation and hands-on massage for either 60 or 90 minutes.
